Porsche Cayman 0 to 60mph or 0 to 100 kph
We thought tiptronic gear shift, which was pioneered in Formula one was supposed to decrease the time it takes to shift between gears, however is straight race between the Porsche Cayman, which uses a manual transmission and the Porsche Cayman S which uses the flappy paddle gear change, it seems that the manual has the upper hand both 0 to 60mph (0 to 100 kph), 0 to 99 mph and also reaching top speed, even though they have the same sized engine. Tiptronic has also added
to the overall weight of the Cayman which may also be a contributing factor in reaching high speeds quickly.

It seems that if you want one of these and you want to go faster, then the obvious choice is the manual transmission. It is quicker across the board, immensely quicker to one hundred miles an hour, beating the tiptronic shift by over two whole seconds. That is a considerable distance when you are hurtling along at 100mph.
